During the "Two Sessions" period, several Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) spoke with the media in Beijing this evening (March 4). When asked about the possibility of gradually reopening the "multiple-entry" visa policy to include cities like Guangzhou and Foshan, Starry Lee Wai-king expressed optimism.

Lee stated that the gradual reopening of the "multiple-entry" visa policy is achievable, provided HK strengthens its capacity to welcome tourists. She emphasized the importance of developing new attractions and ensuring a positive experience for visitors, which would allow this initiative to naturally take shape.
Chan Yung added that many deputies are closely monitoring this issue and collecting public feedback. He expressed confidence that the topic would be raised in upcoming group discussions, where further deliberations are expected.
