On the morning of June 17, Xia first visited the new Huanggang Port. He then arrived at COSCO-HIT Terminals at approximately 10:43 a.m. for an inspection tour.

Xia Baolong tours Northern Metropolis projects and Yuen Long Light Public Housing development during HK visit
Xia Baolong arrived in Hong Kong via the Shenzhen Bay Port on the morning of June 16 for an inspection and research visit focused on HK's integration with the nation's 15th Five-Year Plan and the advancement of the Northern Metropolis development. At around 9 a.m., Xia visited the exhibition center of the Hung Shui Kiu/Ha Tsuen new development area. At around 10:30 a.m., Xia visited the Light Public Housing project on Yau Pok Road in Yuen Long for an on-site inspection. He was accompanied by Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu and Secretary for Housing Winnie Ho Wing-yin.
