KFC in the US will switch its beverage partnership from PepsiCo to The Coca-Cola Company starting in January 2027, ending a four-decade relationship with Pepsi, the fast-food chain announced on Oct. 15 local time.
Coca-Cola products are expected to be available at all KFC restaurants across the US by spring 2027.
Catherine Tan-Gillespie, president of KFC US, said the decision was a key step in the chain's "comeback" strategy.
She added that Pepsi remains an important partner for KFC's parent company and its international markets.
KFC restaurants in the US have served Pepsi beverages since 1986, when PepsiCo acquired the fast-food chain.
