HK welcomes 2025 New Year babies
Several babies were born in the early hours of New Year's Day. The Hospital Authority announced that the first baby born in a public hospital on Jan. 1 was a boy, born at 12:07 a.m. at the Prince of Wales Hospital, weighing 3.375 kilograms.
The second New Year's baby was also a boy, born at 12:12 a.m. at the Princess Margaret Hospital, weighing 3.56 kilograms.
Two girls were born at around 1 a.m. and just before 2 a.m., respectively, at Princess Margaret Hospital and the Prince of Wales Hospital.
