'The Last Dance' becomes HK's highest-grossing film
"The Last Dance" has made history as the highest-grossing Chinese film in Hong Kong cinema. After its recent release in mainland China, the film continued its momentum in Hong Kong, with over 100,000 priority screenings established across the region. On its official release day, it was shown in more than 60,000 venues nationwide.
David Tao to perform two consecutive nights at HK Coliseum from March 1, 2025
Taiwan's singer-songwriter David Tao will come to Hong Kong for concerts in March next year!
David announced the ticket details on his social media platforms today (Dec. 23) and said, "Looking forward to the continuation of our story next spring."
Six persons wanted for alleged contravention of the HK National Security Law
The National Security Department (NSD) of the Hong Kong Police Force today (Dec. 24) said that the Police have put six persons who have absconded overseas and are suspected of having committed offenses under the Law of the People's Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (National Security Law) on wanted list. The court has, upon application by the Police, issued arrest warrants against the said six persons at large.
Snooker World No. 1 Judd Trump becomes HK resident, aims to boost local snooker scene
World No. 1 snooker player Judd Trump has officially become a resident of Hong Kong through the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, recently collecting his identity card.
Trump is currently preparing for the Macau Snooker Masters. In a pre-tournament interview, he expressed that one of his goals in moving to Hong Kong is to help grow the sport of snooker locally, hoping to witness the emergence of the next Hong Kong-born world champion.
China's C919 to launch first regular route to HK starting January 2025
China Eastern Airlines is set to operate the domestically produced C919 aircraft on its Shanghai Hongqiao–Hong Kong route starting Jan. 1, 2025, marking the first time the C919 will be deployed for regular commercial flights on a regional route.
