Burglars in LegCo building: iPhone of 24-year-old legislative assistant stolen in pantry
A 24-year-old legislative assistant surnamed Kwong was pouring water at the pantry on the 11th floor of the Legislative Council building between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. last Thursday (Dec. 19), when she left her cell phone on the table and forgot to retrieve it.
When she realized she had left her mobile phone behind and returned to the pantry, the phone had disappeared, so she called the police.
It is understood that the stolen cell phone is an iPhone 14 model, worth about HK$10,000. The police classified the case as a theft and are looking for a woman aged 25 to 35, of medium stature, with straight black hair, who was wearing a gray jacket, black trousers, and blue shoes at the time of the incident.
