Two videos circulating online today (Oct. 14) show an older man in a blue shirt arguing and fighting with a long-haired person inside an MTR carriage, with bystanders not intervening.
The videos do not indicate the time, date, or location, nor what triggered the dispute. The man in blue is seen visibly agitated, throwing punches from time to time and shouting for the other person to fight. He grabs the other person by the neck and pins him to the floor, then yanks him up by the collar and slams him against the train window, while bystanders do not step in. The long-haired person, while being hit, resists and says the attack is all on video. The man in blue replies that it is on video and that the other person threw the first punch.
The videos drew a large number of netizens, with some commenting that there really is a fight every day. Others pointed out that the passengers on the train, including two men nearby, did not intervene, describing them as so calm that they acted like it had nothing to do with them, and asking whether passerby A had no feelings. Some netizens also felt the man in blue's actions were dangerous, saying he could easily die if his neck hit the edge of the seat.
