Citybus has teamed up with AlipayHK and Alipay to offer HK$2 fare discounts on its Huanggang Port bus routes, ahead of the port's opening on Oct. 12. The collaboration aims to encourage residents and visitors to use Citybus services to experience the convenience of the new port, while providing passengers with an affordable and convenient transport option.
Citybus will launch three new franchised bus routes serving Huanggang Port: B13, B14 and B15. The routes will cover Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, connecting various residential areas, commercial districts and tourist attractions, including eastern Hong Kong Island, Central, Sheung Wan, Kai Tak, San Po Kong, Tuen Mun and Hung Shui Kiu.
From Oct. 12, when the routes begin operating, passengers can scan designated QR codes displayed on bus stop poles along the three Citybus Huanggang routes before boarding to claim a HK$2 or RMB 2 fare discount coupon. Once the coupon has been successfully claimed, the discount will automatically apply to the passenger's Citybus journey.
