With the new Huanggang Port opening soon, the Transport Department said in a social media post today (Oct. 5) that all information at the port's public transport interchange is ready. The department will summarise common questions from passengers and optimise information support as needed to continuously improve the travel experience.
The Transport Department said multiple display screens have been installed at key locations and near boarding areas in the interchange, providing information such as bus and minibus route destinations, intermediate stops, and boarding locations. Large signage and directional guides have also been placed at key locations throughout the interchange, including icons for different transport modes, route numbers, and directions.
In addition, public transport service operators have arranged stop signs, queuing barriers, and other facilities to ensure passengers board in an orderly manner. In the initial period after the port begins service, service ambassadors will assist residents in choosing the most suitable routes to the city at the second-floor lobby.
