With the new Huanggang Port opening soon, the Immigration Department said in a social media post today (Oct. 9) that its officers are fully prepared and will spare no effort in providing efficient and convenient immigration services.
Director of Immigration Benson Kwok recently conducted an on-site inspection at Huanggang Port to review the department's final preparations, ensuring all immigration equipment is operating smoothly and that everything is in top condition to welcome travellers.
The Immigration Department reminded eligible Hong Kong residents who wish to be among the first to experience the clearance process on the day the port opens that they can pre-register through the Immigration Department's "HK e-Channel" mobile app to use the "cooperative inspection" self-service lanes at Huanggang Port.
