The footage shows the ground shaking violently, lights flickering in a local shopping mall, and goods scattered across the floor, creating a scene of widespread chaos. Additionally, some netizens shared images of what appeared to be a sudden collapse of the stone walls of Kumamoto Castle, sending up plumes of dust.
