Japanese lifestyle retailer LOFT will return to Hong Kong after a 36-year absence, marking the latest arrival of a well-known Japanese retail brand in the city's evolving retail market.

YAICHI Group announced on Monday (July 27) that LOFT, one of Japan's most popular lifestyle and variety store chains and a long-time favourite among HK consumers, will reopen in the city in late August.

The brand will launch a one-year pop-up store at MOKO in Mong Kok, offering customers who have fond memories of LOFT the opportunity to rediscover its signature shopping experience.

According to YAICHI, LOFT's return to HK will focus on five core product categories: health and beauty products, creative home and lifestyle goods, carefully selected Japanese food products, stationery and classic paper goods, and seasonal gifts.
