The Young Astronaut Camp 2026 officially launches its nine-day aerospace training today (July 23), following the send-off ceremony held at the Hong Kong Science Museum on July 16.
Thirty selected secondary school students will visit Beijing, Jiuquan and Xi'an and other locations. They will tour major aerospace facilities and have opportunities to interact with space experts and astronauts.
Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan Kwok-ki addressed the ceremony. He encouraged participants to treasure the experience and strive to support the country's aerospace industry in the future.
