The People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy flotilla, consisting of the guided-missile destroyer "Nanning" and the guided-missile frigate "Hengyang," recently arrived in Hong Kong and docked at Stonecutters Island Barracks. During its stopover, the flotilla is open for public visits and has organized various cultural exchange activities. Today (July 4) marks the first day of public access. Despite unfavorable weather conditions, public enthusiasm remains high. Many had already arrived at the barracks and lined up early in the morning, eager to catch a glimpse of the ships.
