Marking the 29th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, a Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy task group comprising the guided-missile destroyer Nanning and the guided-missile frigate Hengyang arrived in HK on Thursday (July 2).
The task group has begun a five-day programme of public open days and cultural exchange activities. The arrival attracted numerous residents and tourists along the waterfront, many of whom stopped to watch and photograph the impressive scene of the naval vessels sailing through Victoria Harbour.
