The "2026 Sun Life Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Festival" is being held at the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, with its flagship event, the "2026 Sun Life Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races", celebrating its 50th golden jubilee.
Thousands of the world's top dragon boat athletes have gathered in HK for the two-day competition on June 27 and 28, paddling for top honors against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour's iconic skyline.
As of around 2 p.m., races across various categories were still underway.
Large numbers of residents and tourists packed the Tsim Sha Tsui East waterfront, lining the harbourfront to watch the competitions and capture the dramatic moments as dragon boats crossed the finish line.
