In the just-concluded World SSP class Race 1 of the 2026 FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK) at the Emilia-Romagna round, French rider Valentin Debise, riding for Chinese motorcycle manufacturer ZXMOTO, claimed the championship title.
This marks the sixth race victory for ZXMOTO. In the final half-lap of the race, Debise successfully overtook his rivals on the ZXMOTO machine to clinch the win.
After the race, Zhang Xue stated that during the previous round in Aragón, the team encountered issues with high temperatures causing engine heat degradation. However, this time they made rapid improvements, and the results were evident. He hopes that in the second half of the season, the bike's performance will become increasingly stable.
According to the Emilia-Romagna round schedule, ZXMOTO will compete in Race 2 at 9:15 pm Beijing time on June 14.
