In the just-concluded first race of the 2026 World Superbike Championship (WSBK) Motul Hungarian Round in the WorldSSP class in Hungary, French rider Valentin Debise, representing the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer ZXMOTO, claimed the championship.
As the first main race began, Debise gradually moved up to 4th place. Later in the race, multiple crashes occurred on the track. After the leading rider made a mistake and fell, Debise advanced to 3rd place. On the final lap, Debise staged a remarkable comeback, overtaking the two riders ahead to cross the finish line as the champion.
Before this, ZXMOTO had competed in three rounds: Australia, Portugal, and the Netherlands (Dutch round). In Portugal, rider Valentin Debise won both races, securing the first-ever historic victory for a Chinese motorcycle brand in this top-tier international event, achieving a groundbreaking milestone.
