At 8:07 a.m. today (June 13), police received a report that a private car had allegedly crashed into a kerb and then overturned to the left on Princess Margaret Road toward Tsim Sha Tsui, near the Shell petrol station in Ho Man Tin. A female passenger on board sustained a hand injury but remained conscious, while the male driver was uninjured.
Both individuals received medical checks from rescue personnel at the scene.
Online images show the overturned private car lying in the middle of the road, with the left kerb having scrape marks.
The Transport Department has announced that due to the traffic accident, some lanes on Princess Margaret Road (toward the Cross-Harbour Tunnel) near Oi Man Estate are now closed. Drivers may only use the remaining open lanes.
