At 10:10 am today (July 7), police received a report that a private car apparently lost control, crashed into a roadside railing, and overturned on Nam Wan Road in Tai Po. A female pedestrian, approximately 60 years old, was injured in the accident, and the driver was initially trapped. Firefighters and rescue personnel arrived at the scene. The driver was rescued and reported neck pain, while the injured woman sustained abrasions to her limbs but was conscious.
Online images show the private car overturned to the right, the roadside railing destroyed, and the driver attempting to climb out of the vehicle.
