A woman died after reportedly falling from a residential unit in Taikoo Shing on Hong Kong Island on Wednesday morning (June 10).
The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. at Lu Shan Mansion in Taikoo Shing, located in the city's Eastern District. The woman was found unconscious with severe injuries on a platform after she was suspected to have fallen from a height within the residential complex.
According to police, the victim was discovered by her 12-year-old daughter, who subsequently called for emergency assistance.
Paramedics responded to the scene and, after examination, confirmed that the woman had died.
Police cordoned off the area for investigation and erected a tent to shield the deceased's body from public view. Authorities are currently looking into the circumstances surrounding the fall.
