64-year-old motorcyclist dies after suspected single-vehicle crash in Fanling

A 64-year-old motorcyclist died after a suspected single-vehicle crash in Fanling on Tuesday afternoon (June 9).

The accident occurred at around 5 p.m. when a motorcycle was traveling along San Wan Road near No. 73, beneath a pedestrian footbridge opposite Fanling Swimming Pool. The vehicle was suspected to have lost control and skidded without involving any other vehicles.

The male rider was found unconscious and was transported by ambulance to North District Hospital for emergency treatment. He was later pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
