Observatory predicts strong winds and thunderstorms tomorrow: Temperatures drop to 20°C on Thursday. (DDN)

The Hong Kong Observatory stated today (April 28) that due to upper-level disturbances, some areas of Hong Kong will experience heavier rainfall tomorrow (April 29). A cold front is expected to cross the coast of South China later tomorrow, causing temperatures in Hong Kong to gradually drop to a low of around 20 degrees Celsius on Thursday morning. Residents are advised to pay attention to weather changes.

The Observatory forecasts that Hong Kong will be generally cloudy today with a few showers. There will be brief periods of sunshine at the beginning, followed by increasing showers and isolated thunderstorms later. Winds will be moderate east to southeast, with fresh winds on higher ground. Looking ahead to tomorrow, some areas will experience heavier rainfall and thunderstorms, followed by a drop in temperature. The low temperature on Thursday morning will be around 20 degrees Celsius, with showers decreasing and clear skies expected for part of the daytime later this week.
