These facilities offer a perfect escape from the elements, ensuring a pleasant and safer workout experience for everyone.

These free, air-conditioned indoor tracks require no booking. They are spread across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories, offering easy access and a safe, comfortable running environment for all.

Discover Hong Kong's 6 Indoor Running Tracks:

All tracks operate daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with specific maintenance days (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday). They generally range from 130 to 163 metres in length.

1. Hong Kong Park Sports Centre (Central)

The only indoor track on Hong Kong Island, this facility features a 162-square-metre track, ideal for rhythm training. It offers a distinct environment and is fully air-conditioned.

2. Choi Wing Road Sports Centre (Kwun Tong)

Located in Kowloon, this modern 163-metre track is known for its bright, airy atmosphere, vibrant blue surface, green walls, and large windows. Its spacious design makes it particularly family-friendly.

3. Po Wing Road Sports Centre (Sheung Shui)

The North District's exclusive indoor track, this 162-metre facility is recognised for its generous width, which comfortably accommodates multiple runners, and its ample natural light.

4. Tiu Keng Leng Sports Centre (Tseung Kwan O)

This centre has a 150-metre track designed with smooth, fluid curves and no sharp corners. It provides direct, covered access to Tiu Keng Leng MTR Station and is fully air-conditioned.

5. Hang Hau Sports Centre (Tseung Kwan O)

Situated in the Tseung Kwan O Government Complex, this 150-square-metre track includes distance markers and a skylight, providing natural morning light and top-floor views. It is fully air-conditioned and about 10 minutes from Hang Hau MTR Exit B. Maintenance occurs on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

6. Tin Fai Road Sports Centre (Tin Shui Wai)

As the only indoor running track in New Territories West, this 130-metre track offers a wide, three-lane design suitable for multiple users. It also features a children's playroom and an outdoor climbing wall, making it a family-friendly destination. Access typically requires a Light Rail transfer or driving. Maintenance: Second and fourth Wednesday of each month, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Simple Guidelines for a Smooth Run:

For a positive experience, wear suitable sportswear and non-marking shoes. Spiked shoes are not allowed. The tracks are for jogging only. Follow the running direction, avoid running side-by-side or backward, and warm up before starting.
