Chinese freestyle skier Eileen Gu has shifted her focus to the women's Big Air competition after an intense battle in the slopestyle event on Feb. 10.
Gu, who won China's first silver medal in the women's slopestyle final, is now preparing for the Big Air qualification round, scheduled for Feb. 15. The finals will take place on Feb. 17.
On Feb. 11, Gu expressed gratitude to her supporters in a social media post, saying, "Thank you to all my friends who support me."
In the women's slopestyle final, Gu competed in three rounds, with her best score counting toward the rankings. She scored 86.58, 23.00, and 1.65 points in the three runs, securing second place with her top score of 86.58 points.
