According to Xinhua News Agency, on Feb. 8, Chinese athletes Li Fanghui and Zhang Kexin achieved a stunning 1-2 finish in the women's freeski halfpipe final at the 9th Asian Winter Games. Li Fanghui secured the gold medal with an impressive score of 95.25 points, while her teammate Zhang Kexin claimed the silver medal.

This marks the first gold medal for Team China at the Harbin 2025 Asian Winter Games, as well as the first gold in the snow events of this year's competition.

Despite the absence of star athlete Gu Ailing (Eileen Gu), who withdrew due to injury, China's female freestyle skiers delivered a commanding performance, showcasing their strength and dominance in the sport.
