On Dec. 28, the sub-venues for China Media Group's 2026 Spring Festival Gala were unveiled. Harbin in Heilongjiang, Yiwu in Zhejiang, Hefei in Anhui, and Yibin in Sichuan will join the main venue in Beijing to create a Spring Festival stage showcasing cultural heritage and vibrant folk traditions.
The Harbin venue will blend traditional charm with modern flair, ice and snow wonders with technological allure, and northern folk customs with international sophistication.
Yiwu, a key intersection of the modern Silk Road's land and sea routes, will join global friends for the gala, harmonizing mountain and sea melodies into a Silk Road celebration.
Hefei looks forward to collaborating with the Spring Festival Gala production team to present audiences with a dazzling display of technological brilliance, showcasing a cultural feast as picturesque as Anhui itself.
The Yibin sub-venue will blend the majestic Yangtze River, the rich heritage of Chinese liquor culture, the verdant bamboo forests, and the pulse of modern industry. It will showcase to the world a new Yibin where tradition and modernity embrace.
