According to the Hong Kong Observatory, on Dec. 25, Christmas Day, the weather in HK is forecast to be mostly cloudy, with one or two showers in the morning. Daytime temperatures will hover around 19°C. During the afternoon, there will be periods of bright weather as conditions turn cooler.
Tonight, urban areas will see temperatures drop to about 15°C, with the New Territories experiencing a further decrease of 2 to 3°C. Moderate to fresh northerly winds will prevail, with occasional strong winds in offshore and high-elevation areas.
Looking ahead, the Observatory predicts that urban temperatures tomorrow will fall to around 14°C, with some parts of the New Territories expected to be cold. During the weekend, sunny and dry weather is expected, although mornings will remain cool. Inland areas may experience significant temperature variations between day and night.
