"The Monkey King: Sun Wukong — The Unrivaled Hero," presented by Taiwanese Peking Opera performers, will be staged at West Kowloon from Feb. 6 to 8, 2026.

At yesterday's (Dec. 15) preview event, three generations of Monkey Kings appeared on stage together, kicking off next year's major production.

Chin Lang, the third-generation Monkey King, serves as the "martial arts specialist" in the play, while second-generation Monkey King Hsu Ting-fang is the "technique specialist."

The legendary "Master of Expression" is the first-generation master Chu Lu-hao, whose every movement and facial nuance meticulously embodies the supreme art of "man and monkey as one."

This marks the first time all three generations of Monkey Kings have performed in Hong Kong, and they hope for the city's warm reception and support.

Tickets went on sale Dec. 15, priced at HK$550, HK$480, HK$400, HK$320, and HK$280 respectively.
