At 5:00 p.m. today (Nov. 30), the Hong Kong Police Force held a press conference at Tai Po's Kwong Fuk Park regarding the recent No. 5 alarm fire at Wang Fuk Court.
Chief Superintendent Tsang Shuk-yin of the casualty enquiry center reported that as of 4:00 p.m. today, the death toll had risen to 146, including 18 bodies recovered by the police. The number of injured stands at 79, and the police do not rule out the possibility of further fatalities. Currently, 54 bodies remain unidentified, and there are 100 cases still under investigation.
