On the afternoon of Nov. 26, a No. 5 alarm fire broke out at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, resulting in severe casualties.
This morning (Nov. 30), a continuous stream of mourners—numbering at least 1,000—made their way to Tai Po, forming a queue that stretched up to 1.5 kilometers at one point. They laid flowers and wrote heartfelt messages on cards at the Kwong Fuk Sitting-out Area to pay tribute to the victims, expressing their wishes for the deceased to rest in peace.
