As a prelude to the "Water Parade", the MTR is welcoming four beloved characters, who will surprise commuters with themed visuals at Central, Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, and Hung Hom stations. Their vibrant appearances are transforming station pillars into fun-filled photo hotspots, adding excitement to the lead-up to this citywide celebration.

The station name pillars are already popular selfie spots for both locals and tourists. To further enhance the event's atmosphere, the MTR has specially arranged for the four featured characters to appear in themed designs. These include Doraemon holding a red bean bun, Grimace lounging on bubbles, KAWS & Sesame Street's Elmo, and LABUBU reclining on a donut-shaped bubble.

Each character will be displayed at designated stations—Central, Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, and Hung Hom—injecting energy and joy into the stations and encouraging passengers to capture memorable photos ahead of the festivities.

Additionally, at Lo Wu Station's arrival hall, a key entry point for mainland tourists visiting HK, themed decorations featuring the four characters will warmly welcome travelers to hop on the East Rail Line and head directly to Admiralty to join this grand citywide event.

Admiralty Station to undergo a major transformation for the event

Starting Oct. 25, four giant inflatable sculptures will be on public display in the sea opposite Tamar Park in Admiralty as part of the "Water Parade". Meanwhile, the "Water Parade Market" will take place along the Central section of the Central and Western District Promenade. Admiralty Station, which is adjacent to the event venues, will undergo a significant makeover to connect the sea parade to the land experience.

A mysterious purple visitor will make a grand appearance at Admiralty Station, and one of the iconic characters will make its debut station announcement, welcoming everyone with their familiar and friendly voice. Stay tuned for further announcements.
