Organized by the creative brand AllRightsReserved (ARR) and supported by the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Bureau, the "Water Parade" will kick off on Nov. 1 in Victoria Harbour. Four internationally renowned IPs – "Doraemon," "LABUBU," "Sesame Street's Elmo," and "McDonald's Grimace" – will debut as giant inflatable sculptures floating on the water. Today (Sept. 20), a trial demonstration was held in the waters off Tsing Yi.

At the trial site, the four giant inflatable sculptures gathered at a Hong Kong shipyard, each measuring approximately 20 meters long, creating a stunning spectacle. "Elmo" and "Grimace" were seen reclining on floating buoys; "Doraemon" rested on a "Dorayaki" (honest red bean pancake), while "LABUBU" lay sprawled on a giant donut, making for an irresistibly cute scene.
During the demonstration, "Elmo" and "Grimace" lazily floated on the water, pulled slowly by two boats, one in front and one behind. Their adorable postures stood out, and their massive size was even more striking when compared to the surrounding vessels.

According to organizers, the inflatable sculptures will be displayed in the waters off Tamar Park in Admiralty starting Oct. 25. On Nov. 1, they will form a fleet and parade along both shores of Victoria Harbour, allowing citizens and tourists to admire them from multiple perspectives.

ARR founder Lam Shu-kam stated that this event is unprecedented in scale, featuring four IPs with significant global influence. The selection process involved careful curation and long-term collaboration with brand partners. Lam hopes the event will showcase HK's strength as an international platform and foster deeper collaboration between local teams and global IPs.
Additionally, from Oct. 25 to Nov. 1, the Central section of the Central and Western District Promenade (near Tamar Park) will host a "Parade Market." The market will feature interactive game zones, themed dining, and exclusive photo spots. Beyond the four major IPs, the market will also incorporate elements from other popular franchises, such as "Stranger Things Season 5" and "Squid Game."
Early bird tickets for the Parade Market will go on sale on Sept. 26 via the Klook platform. Adult tickets start at HK$50, while children's tickets start at HK$40.
