As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, Huatai International announced on Sept. 22 that it will host the fifth annual "Light Rail Ding Ding Fun Free Ride Day" event on the festival day (Oct. 6). On this day, all residents and visitors in Hong Kong can enjoy unlimited free rides on light rail and Ding Ding trams, encouraging families and friends to explore HK Island or the New Territories together and celebrate the festive occasion.
Since 2021, Huatai International has organized the "Light Rail Ding Ding Fun" event, offering free tram rides on the Mid-Autumn Festival. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Huatai Securities' H-share listing, and to celebrate the milestone, the fifth edition of the event will include free rides on the light rail network for the first time.
Starting Sept. 22, themed light rail trains and trams for the "Light Rail Ding Ding Fun" will tour across Northwest New Territories and HK Island, building anticipation for the free ride day and extending festive wishes to all HK residents and visitors.
