Movie lovers, rejoice! The highly anticipated "Movie Fiesta-Half Price Spectacular" returns this year on National Day, Oct. 1. The Hong Kong Theatres Association has announced that all screenings in 52 cinemas across the city will be available at half price, regardless of the movie, ticket type, or screening format, including VIP House tickets. In addition, existing discounts for seniors, children, and students will also be halved. Tickets will go on sale starting at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26.

All 52 commercial cinemas in HK, including: BESTAR' Flim, Broadway Circuit, CGV Cinema, Chinachem Cinema, CineArt House, Cinema City, Emperor Cinemas, Golden Scene Cinema, Lumen Cinema, Lux Theatre, MCL Cinemas, Newport Circuit, and Sunbeam Whampoa.

Includes 4DX, CGS LASER, CGS THX ULTIMATE, D-BOX, Dolby Atmos, FX, IMAX, IMAX with LASER, LUXE, MX4D, ONYX, and Real D Cinema.
Special offers
- All movie tickets on Oct. 1 will be half-price, regardless of screening format or movie type.
- Additional discounts for seniors, children, and students will also be halved.
- Tickets for private screenings and special programs are excluded from this offer.
- Prices will round up to the nearest whole dollar for amounts with decimal points.
Ticketing details
- Tickets will be available for purchase at cinema box offices and online platforms starting from 12:00 p.m. on Sept. 26, 2025.
- Each person can purchase up to four tickets per transaction at box offices. Online ticket limits will depend on individual cinema policies.
- Tickets for Lux Theatre will be available for presale starting Sept. 30, 2025.
