The Transport Department stated that, due to the influence of Super Typhoon Ragasa, public transport services will be adjusted.
Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) and Long Win Bus (LWB) will reallocate resources starting at 12 pm to enhance services in response to passenger demand. Most KMB and LWB daytime routes will maintain service for about two hours after the No. 8 signal takes effect; however, some routes, including KMB routes B1 and B9, as well as LWB routes S1 and S64 series, will operate limited services during the No. 8 signal period. The Fun Travel with KMB HK1 service will be suspended for the entire day.
Citybus will increase bus frequencies after noon depending on demand. Citybus expects that most daytime services will continue until around 4:20 pm, and will then be gradually suspended. The Citybus B5 route, which connects the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Sunny Bay Station, will be suspended starting at 3 pm due to the closure of the bridge.
During the No. 8 signal period, Citybus routes B3X, B7 (providing service only between Fanling Station andHeung Yuen Wai Control Point), and S1 will maintain limited services.
