A serious car accident occurred in Tsuen Wan today (Aug. 5) at 1:52 pm. At the entrance of the underground parking lot of the Nina Hospitality, a taxi reportedly lost control, resulting in a man suffering severe injuries and falling into a coma. He was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for emergency treatment, but was later pronounced dead.

According to reports from the scene, the deceased was a Filipino man who was visiting Hong Kong with several friends. They were checking out today and preparing to leave when he was struck by the taxi in the drop-off area of the hotel lobby. The taxi driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Photos from the scene show that the building's wall was damaged, and the front of the taxi was severely deformed, with the injured man lying on the ground in front of the vehicle.
