Wipha will move quite close to the Pearl River Estuary tomorrow (July 20), bringing frequent squalls, heavy showers, and thunderstorms to Hong Kong. Depending on the storm's proximity to the Pearl River Estuary, its intensity, and local wind conditions, the Observatory may consider issuing the No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
Due to storm surge, low-lying coastal areas may experience flooding tomorrow morning. The public is advised to stay updated with the latest weather information from the Observatory.
