Hollywood comedian Jimmy O. Yang, who was born in Hong Kong, recently visited his hometown to perform stand-up comedy and explore the city's vibrant culture. Invited by the HK Tourism Board (HKTB), Jimmy visited iconic sites such as Man Mo Temple in Sheung Wan and Ngong Ping 360, while also indulging in traditional local delicacies like roasted meats, which brought back fond childhood memories.

Jimmy shared his love for HK's culinary heritage, saying, "I was born in HK, and these flavors are not just a delight for the taste buds but also a key part of my childhood memories. HK's food is always full of surprises."

During his visit to the historic Man Mo Temple, Jimmy followed traditional rituals by touching the "Man Cheong Pen" and the "Sword of Guan Yu" before applying gold leaf to a sacred deer statue to wish for the success of his upcoming comedy show.

He then took the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, enjoying a panoramic view of HK's stunning landscape. Reflecting on the experience, Jimmy said, "Having grown up in HK, I've always felt the city's unique energy. It's a place where tradition meets innovation, and you can explore centuries of culture and breathtaking nature in a single day. Every journey here is filled with surprises, showcasing the city's diverse urban landscape."

In addition, Jimmy enjoyed cocktails at one of Asia's best bars and revisited more of HK's authentic roasted meat dishes, praising the city's culinary diversity. He remarked, "This city always finds a way to showcase its unique cultural fusion through food. These flavors are not only delicious but also a part of my upbringing."

Through Jimmy's perspective, the HKTB aims to highlight HK's distinctive cultural appeal and attract global travelers and fans to visit, encouraging them to create their own memorable HK stories.
