Hong Kong-born Hollywood actor Jimmy O. Yang is set to land at the Hong Kong Coliseum this June, marking his first-ever stand-up comedy tour in Asia. The announcement has sparked a ticket-buying frenzy, with all four originally scheduled shows (including added performances) selling out immediately.
Recently, Jimmy himself delivered the ultimate good news - a final additional matinee show at 3:00 PM on June 14. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow (May 30) at 10:00 AM via URBTIX.
Known for his razor-sharp humor exploring cultural clashes, Asian-American identity, and immigrant experiences, Jimmy has won massive popularity in the U.S. Asian community by hilariously recounting his coming-of-age stories. He credits Dayo Wong as his inspiration for entering stand-up comedy, and cites Stephen Chow's "From Beijing with Love" as his all-time favorite Hong Kong film.
