American-Hong Kong stand-up comedian Jimmy O.Yang is making his debut on the Asian stage. He will hold five consecutive stand-up shows at the Hong Kong Coliseum this month, and all tickets have sold out quickly.
Jimmy also announced that he will perform stand-up comedy for three consecutive days at the Broadway Macao stage from July 4 (Friday) to 6 (Sunday). Tickets will be available at Galaxy Ticketing and Damai at 11 am this Friday (June 13), and audiences can also go to Trip.com and Ctrip for priority ticket booking at 1 pm today (June 12).
Born in Hong Kong, O.Yang moved to the United States at the age of 13. Inspired by the founder of Hong Kong stand-up comedy, Dayo Wong, he began his stand-up comedy career in the United States, performing in various venues. Since then, he has developed a unique stand-up comedy style, especially good at using cultural differences, Asian identity, and immigration experience as themes, humorously telling his own growth story. The talk-of-the-town stand-up comedy segment has become a hit on YouTube, with a single video reaching over 20 million views.
