According to CCTV News, the Israeli military launched a new round of airstrikes on Iran on June 13 (local time), escalating regional tensions in the Middle East.
The latest strikes reportedly targeted multiple sites across Tabriz in East Azerbaijan Province and Kermanshah Province. The head of Iran's East Azerbaijan Crisis Management Center confirmed that three military installations in the province were struck by Israeli forces.
Citing sources in the Israeli military, Israel Army Radio reported that the Israeli Air Force carried out five waves of airstrikes across Iranian territory on the same day.
The situation adds to the already volatile security environment in the region, following months of rising military and political tensions between the two nations.
Further details, including casualties and official responses from both governments, have yet to be released.
