According to Xinhua News Agency, all 242 people onboard a crashed Indian aircraft have been confirmed dead.
Citing Indian media NDTV, China's CCTV reported that the plane crashed shortly after takeoff, hitting a medical college undergraduate dormitory close to the airport. The crash also resulted in the death of five medical students living in the dormitory and left several others injured.
