US President Donald Trump, in an interview with ABC senior journalist Terry Moran marking his first 100 days of his second term, launched a series of verbal attacks against Moran and the network, accusing ABC of spreading "fake news" and labeling questions during the interview "stupid."

The friction began when the two clashed over a photograph related to the US government's mistaken deportation of a Salvadoran immigrant. Trump claimed the photo showed the immigrant with "MS13" tattooed on his hand, identifying him as a gang member. Moran countered that the photo was "Photoshopped". Trump doubled down on his assertion, stating, "He had MS as clear as you can be, not interpreted, this is why people no longer believe the news because it's fake news."

"You are doing the interview, I picked you because, frankly, I never heard of you. I picked you, but you're not being very nice," Trump said to Terry Moran during the interview.

The tension escalated further when Moran asked about the recent scandal involving leaked information by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Moran inquired whether Trump still had complete confidence in Hegseth. Trump said that he doesn't have 100% confidence in anything, and pointed out that the question is a "stupid question".

Trump also criticized his predecessor, Joe Biden, describing him as "incompetent" and mocking his physical struggles. He noted that Biden can't even go up and down the stairs, "But you guys didn't want to write it because you're fake news," Trump said.

"ABC is one of the worst," Trump added.
