
The Hong Kong Customs has launched an exciting naming contest for eight adorable detector dogs.
Each name is composed of English letters, and the first letters of the eight names must be 'C', 'H', 'A', 'M', 'P', 'I', 'O', 'N'. The names should be categorized by the gender of the dogs.
Starting April 1, HK residents are invited to suggest unique and meaningful names for the puppies based on their physical traits. Contestants must submit their entries, including a brief explanation (100 words or less) of the proposed names' significance, along with their full name and contact information, to pcsd_otpc@customs.gov.hk.
Contest details
- Submission period: April 1 to April 13, 2025
- Eligibility: Open to all HK residents (one entry per participant)
- Naming guidelines: Each name must start with the letters in "Champion" (C, H, A, M, P, I, O, N). Two of the names, starting with "M" and "O," must be male names, while the others are for females. Names must be in English.
- How to enter: Email your proposed names, explanation (within 100 words), full name, and contact number to pcsd_otpc@customs.gov.hk.
