City University of Hong Kong yesterday (March 31), an assault on police, a 23-year-old male student, suspected of being asked to lower the sound of the phone and suddenly attacked, first clashed with a female researcher, and then attacked the dining hall staff and the investigation of the police on the scene, but also gave one of the police officers an overarm throwone. Wang then fled to the library, where he encountered a number of police officers from the Emergency Unit of the West Kowloon Police Force who arrived at the scene. When one of the police sergeants and one of the police officers switched on their cameras to film the scene, Wang pulled off the sergeant's camera and threw it to the ground, and then gave the police officers an overarm throw, and at one point, he grabbed a 21-year-old male student at the scene in an attempt to escape. In the end, the police officers applied pepper spray to Wang and subdued him.

The incident resulted in five injuries, of which three police officers were chest pain, face and back of the head pain and finger injuries; the woman who initially asked Wang to reduce the volume of the phone, injured in the left forearm; dining hall male manager nosebleed. The 21-year-old male student did not have superficial injuries and did not need to be sent to the hospital for treatment.

Wang was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer, obstructing a police officer in the performance of his duties, criminal damage, assault causing bodily harm, theft and other offenses. The case was referred to the Sham Shui Po District criminal investigation team for follow-up.
