A 4-month-old baby boy was pronounced dead after being found unconscious at Wah Sin House, Wah Kwai Estate in Aberdeen this morning (March 22).

The incident was reported at 9:38 a.m. when the boy's father called emergency services, stating that his infant son had suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness. Paramedics arrived quickly and rushed the baby to Queen Mary Hospital, but despite rescue efforts, he was tragically pronounced dead.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death, but no further details have been released.

This marks the second case of an infant falling unconscious and passing away in Hong Kong within three days. On March 20, a 5-day-old baby boy was found unresponsive at Mei Pak House, Shek Kip Mei Estate, in Sham Shui Po. A confinement nanny discovered the baby pale and unresponsive during a home visit and immediately called for help. The infant was sent to the hospital but could not be saved.
