At 12:42 p.m. today (March 12), a tour bus parked at a car park near the Lau Fau Shan archway caught fire after dropping off passengers on Lau Fau Shan Road. Thick smoke was seen emanating from the rear of the vehicle. The bus driver escaped unharmed and promptly called emergency services.
Firefighters responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the flames. Police conducted an investigation and concluded that the cause of the fire was not suspicious.
Fortunately, no injuries occurred during the incident.
