Today (March 5) around 10 AM, a truck caught fire in the slow lane of Chatham Road North in Hung Hom, heading towards Tsim Sha Tsui. The items in the truck's cargo area ignited, producing thick smoke that rose into the air. No injuries were reported.
The Transport Department stated that due to the fire, some lanes on Chatham Road North (heading towards Tsim Sha Tsui) near Fat Kwong Street are still closed. Drivers can only use the remaining lanes. Traffic in the area is currently congested.
