The Transport Department has announced that it will begin allocating the "ZZ" series of traditional vehicle registration mark from this month to next month.
Once the "ZZ" series is exhausted, the department will revert to the "WA" series, redistributing previously returned but unassigned traditional license plate numbers in reverse alphabetical order. This means the allocation will proceed from "WA" to "WZ," then "VA" to "VZ," followed by "UA" to "UZ," and so on. Currently, there are approximately 3 million available numbers, which are expected to meet demand for the next 20 years.
